Cheers Robin, I think my attraction to it is because it was such a big thing that you heard everyday in the news as I was growing up.
Also to me it's such an interesting line, where you can do dioramic scenes of such variations of terrain Urban street fighting, Jungle, beach, river, Rice paddies, FSB sieges defence and if cash and room allowed 3D with Helicopters !

If you haven't started collecting them already will you be joining in too Robin !?

You certainly make it sound enticing Steve. For me, I would like some peasants and water buffalo working in the Rice paddies, the civilian side of it would interest me. Robin.

Would be great If Andy did those, even the old series if repainted to todays standard. Would be useful for Burma, China etc ww2 dios as well as Vietnam.

Great idea, Robin.
They could be used in various Asian and Pacific scenes. On many on the WWII Pacific Islands the Marines encountered many civilians as they progressed inland. Okinawa and Peleliu being obvious examples.

This is one that I envision our good friend Enrico embracing as the "After the Battle" is perfect for those type of figures!!!
