Sorry aboiut this late report:

I met Beau Cunnyngham at the Show a couple of weeks ago and though I'm not a big Collector in plastics toy soldiers I was impressed with his new line. They're ACW with his first set (the South) coming out soone.

His webbsite is at www.cunnyngham.com.

Hey Carlos,

It was nice meeting you at Texas. We are looking at a full release date sometime in October-November, but with luck, we might have a few initial bags for sale at Chicago. We'll be room trading friday and Saturday night, and have a table on Sunday.

Thanks for the kind words about the figures.

Congratulations on turning out some really nice figures Beau. The poses and 'crispness' are excellent.
Cheers for the photos Carlos.

Carlos, Thanks for the excellent pictures. Beau great looking figures that I look forward to owning. I especially like the variation in the hats. looks to me like; a tall and short "beehive", a "slouch", a "kepi", a "porkpie" and a "mechanic". I look forward to painting up these great looking figures. Thanks again for the great pictures Carlos.

Thanks Carlos, I am really looking forward to these figures with their unique poses.

These figures look very nice.
Are they soft plastic or more like a resin material?
The detail is so crisp and the rifles look so straight, not like a lot of other plastic soldiers.

Our sculptor has done a fantastic job with these figures, adding all the little details that make the soldiers come to life! We are excited to get these out to collectors.

Regarding the rifles and plastic type: These will be done in plastic and color as to match Toy Soldiers of San Diego. The figures you see in the pictures are prototypes. They've gone through a few changes since we debuted them at Texas (added a cap pouch here, a bayonet scabbard there, and adjusted an arm position). When they are run, they will be in a soft plastic that allows the rifles some "give". This is done so that when you get your figures, the rifles are not broken.

Its looking as if we won't have any bags at Chicago... I was hoping to get some express air mailed to us... but doesn't look like that will be an option. We'll still be there showing off test shots though, and maybe taking some pre-orders.

We are currently sculpting set #2.

We have every reason to believe that they will be available before Christmas. As with everything, there are factors that could delay things, but we're keeping our fingers crossed that everything goes without a hitch.
