Texas Show-Iraqi War Release "M1A2" Abrams Prototype (1 Viewer)

Now thats what I call a Tank. A Troop of four in Aussie markings would make a nice dio. for under the Christmas Tree.

Expensive Christmas Howard, but I agree. Line abreast would make for a sweet display.

I've been hoping for a modern range since I started collecting some time ago and the M1A2 was one of the tanks I was waiting for.

This looks like yet another great model from Figarti and I hope Clive has one (or more) at the London show before I make a decision about this and the M198 and Stryker. I have already preordered the Su152 and will also look at the other Russian stuff there, but I can't get everything and I may have to pass on this tank.

Is this the first batch of vehicles for the War in Iraq, and will we soon see a Challenger II and Warrior. We may even see an Iraqi T-72 or T-55.

I would also like to see a Russian T-80U if they went global modern or a Chinese Type 99 but then this hobby would become far to expensive.;)

No one's falling for it. You're as weak willed as the rest of us and will cave as soon as you see it.
Unless you did what you did last time, and only bring cash to the show.
Apart from just 1 or 2 credit cards for absolute emergency use only.......yeah, right! ;)

See you at the show mate.

It looks like Otto is going to the back of the queue. :)

Otto is a definate like the TRL Flagbearer and Nolan. I think his friends are going to be limited somewhat.:p

Do we have any more news on the release of this beauty of a tank -- the M1A2 Abrams ?;)

It is coming to mid-June and it is not up on the website yet.

Raymond:)

Mid to late June is still the targeted date per Figarti at the Texas Show. Who knows it might appear at the London Show in late June.
