LOL, me too and from 3 miles away. Hype is hype but this is one of the few shows in the country I know that has manufacturers available to meet and greet everyone.

I attended last year, great show. But there is so much more to do and see than just the show itself.

Lots to Experience in San Antonio

Check this video out from “visit San Antonio”. It begins with a bit on the Menger Hotel and many more attractions are featured with many of them within walking distance from the Menger Hotel. I love this place!

Companies “Who’s Who” that will be at the show

ACCESSIBILITY!

King & Country will be represented by their store (Kings-X) and Steven Chong and Carlos will be representing Figarti. However, my last intelligences is that the rest of these companies will be represented by the manufacturing representative or owner not by a dealer.

Oh, to be a North American. You are so fortunate to have a population base that allows so many TS forums, shows etc where dealers and collectors can come together. Australian TS collectors can only dream of such regular opportunities.

Cheers Forum Squadron Members,

Regarding the SAT show, does anyone know if there are any Friday evening events? One more question, are there vendors that might only set up on Sunday vs. both days? In short, if you attend all day Saturday provided you live through the day, will it make for a successful TS Mission? I was told previously that there was no room trading-correct...that was my add on bonus question.

Thanks,
Beaufighter & sometimes Marc

I just made my reservations...great price this year...$105.00...they have lot parking pretty cheap 1/2 block from the Menger...

I have never seen room trading in the years I have gone...you will have to check with the show scheduler about Saturday and Sunday tables...I never noticed anything new on Sunday that wasn't there on Saturday...

Carlos mate,
Your killing me cobber with those videos. I just love San Antonio.:smile2::smile2: I have had three trips to the US now but the best two days I spent were there in San Antonio. No offence to my mates in LA, NY and Chicago but staying at the Mengers, enjoying the River Walk, The Alamo, chatting to Martin in Kings X and drinking mucho beers at the Mad Dog British Pub on the River Walk are great memories.
You Texicans really know how to party. Recommend to all my Aussie Treefroggers that if go to the US and don't go to San Antonio then you are missing the best part.
Have a great time guys.
Cheers Howard

I will see you there then as my wife and I will be making the trek to San Antonio then Austin for a much needed change of scenery!

Tally Ho,
Marc
