I recently got the Thomas Gunn Miniatures RAF Gloster Gladiator model (WOW-233) in the markings of the aircraft flown by the South African “Ace of Aces” Pat Pattle while flying with 80 Squadron in Egypt in 1940. This is a nice limited edition model, coming with a reasonably accurate paint scheme, detailed cockpit, and fully rigged. TGM got the prop wrong as Pattle’s Gladiator was a Mk. I with the early two-bladed prop. This doesn’t bother me as I wanted a Gladiator in the general European Theater colors to go with my TGM German HS-123 and this model fit the bill. I got some K&C RAF figures and a TGM RAF sentry figure to go with the plane in a nice little viginette diorama. Enjoy!
