Interesting coincidence. I've been listening to a lot of Slim Dusty clips lately.

Makes me think that we're very much like our Australian cousins, maybe moreso than we are like our Canadian cousins.

"Pub With No Beer" reminds me a little of the melody of Stephen Foster's "Beautiful Dreamer", I'm trying to track down if it's derived from the older tune.
