I just received my latest K&C AWI sets of George W. and his guards.

The figures are fantastic as (ALL AWI SETS ARE!) -- yes a bit of bias here.
But what I wanted to mention is, the new, much more sturdy and noticeably larger boxes to safely accommodate the swords, bayonets, plumes and such.

A big issue with the older flimsy green boxes .. (and even the newer printed boxes) was the tight fit of some of the figures and not being able to pile them due to the curvature of the lids and bottom folds. I don't know how many times I only had them three or four high and they would tip over. :(

These new boxes are much thicker and maybe a 1/4" larger in length and width as well as a bit taller.

Also a plus, is the new custom cut fitted foam to match the figure. VERY NICE...:salute::

Thanks Andy and guys for keeping my treasures safer ...

K & C has always done a fantastic job at getting the product safely to the customer. Nothing worse than opening a box and finding something not right.

Larry, Agreed.... I feel quite safe to say that the newly designed K&C boxes are an excellent idea. With the sturdy design of the box itself preventing crushing during transit
and the sturdy inner foam cut-outs to hold the figures in place, breakage and damage is non existent ! :salute::
