I will not name names in this thread. I simply don’t wish to forget to mention someone as a result of a memory lapse and cause offense when none should be.

I just wanted to thank everyone who has been posting pictures of their dioramas and collections. You guys are amazing. In simple terms, your creativity and talent are extraordinary. I have been a member of this forum for about a year and a half and the pictures never seem to end; and hopefully they will not end either. The use of background materials that match the era being portrayed, the color coordination, the historical accuracy, and the photographic skills are just simply on par with museum quality work. I hope that your creativity and skills continue to improve on a level with the improved quality of the collections we are being offered to add to our collections.

And Shannon, thank you for putting up with all of our different and often unusual personalities. Did I mean to say personality disorders, naw I didn’t; but I did didn’t I. And also, for forgiving us our sometimes child like behavior while having to devote time and attention to umpiring this forum when you should be spending time with your son, or selling toy soldiers, or whatever else is more important than dealing with this bunch of nut cases. Thank you. I do appreciate your efforts and work.

Brad, the same goes for you. As the person who is responsible the sanity of this forum (moderator), I believe you do a superior job. I give you a hard time about being an attorney, but it is all in fun. I believe you are, unlike a certain TV news network that stole this phrase, fair and balanced. Thank you. I do appreciate your work with us on the forum.

Michael,

Thank you. Unfortunately, my profession is full of people who I wouldn't want to know so we get the ribbing we deserve:)

I try to be fair and balanced but yesterday I did something that didn't meet that standard without checking the facts. I wouldn't do that in my job so I don't know why I wouldn't do that here. I'm disappointed in myself and have offered an apology to Ron in private. Well, now I'm doing it in public.

Ron, you again have my apologies and I'm sorry I didn't talk to you in private as I should have.

We all make mistakes and hope that we learn from those mistakes. This is one situation that I hope I have learned some lessons from.

Brad

All is forgiven and this chapter is now closed.

There are many great people on this forum and I feel very fortunate to be able to talk with all of you about my favorite hobby. Communication is a wonderful thing. This forum is a wonderful thing. TOY SOLDIERS ARE A WONDERFUL THING. :D

Ron

Ron,

I appreciate that but I'm not happy with myself over this whole episode so getting over that will take a bit longer.

Brad

We cant live on our mistakes - we must learn, forgive and move forward. Might I sugguest a heavy Toy Soldier buying spree to cheer yourself up :D

It works for me ;)

Ron

Brad,i wouldn't worry too much.Firstly Ron is a very decent chap indeed,he is also big enough to dish it out and take it at the same time.I don't think he dwells on things for to long.Except for the odd Jack Daniels..i understand you don't have proper Whisky over there!

Secondly i think you do a superb job as moderator. You are fair, dilligent and even handed. The forum would be a worse place without you.We all make mistakes at some point as i did with Ron and Louis, but you just learn from them and move forward. As they say in the wonderful film 'twelve angry men' "you hang in there and keep pitching".
