concerning the bombings at the Boston Marathon that were sent to me, I appreciate all of your thoughts and concerns.

Sadly this event has hit home to me on a higher level as one of the deceased was friends with someone I know, he's a Red Sox fan who I've become friendly with.

He sent pictures of the two of them at a friends wedding, pretty gut wrenching to see them at a happy event, now she's gone, shortly before her 30th birthday.

Unless you live in Massachusetts, you can't comprehend what Patriots day and the Marathon mean to us, the POS responsible for this cowardly act has taken what is a happy event and turned forever into a tragic one, effecting the lives of hundreds if not thousands of people in the blink of an eye.

Sorry fellas, but events like this take my faith in humanity down several pegs.

Really sorry to hear this George. Words can be cheap at times like this but although your faith in humanity is shaken, instead look to the reaction of the good people of Boston on the day and of the people of NYC on 9/11. They are are the decent examples of humanity my friend and the person responsible for this latest outrage are just not worthy of note and justice will sooner or later catch them up as they are strapped down and injected.

Keep your chin up mate

George,

Really sorry to hear about that. Words don't do justice but please my thoughts along, for whatever that may be worth.

I would like to add my personal sympathy concerning this senseless act. I am currently in New Jersey from Texas visiting family, not very far from Boston.

Just as we did over 200 years ago on Patriots' Day, we will stand strong.

And with your Allies of today who you stood with when our tube system was bombed.

6:35 seconds into President's speech on Sept 20th 2001.

"America has no truer friend than Great Britain. Once again, we are joined together in a great cause. The British prime minister has crossed an ocean to show his unity of purpose with America, and tonight we welcome Tony Blair..."

My condolances to you George, losing a friend can be just as heart wrenching as losing a family member.
