At the last New York symposium I spoke to Rick and in chatting he offered me the opportunity to acquire a Stuart in ETO British markings of my choice. I sent him pictures of my choice, 7th Armoured Div, the desert rats, who fought in Normandy, being particularly busy south of Bayeux.

I just collected this - the delays are all down to Clive and especially myself not getting it together, but the result is fantastic.

Thanks Rick, and Clive, first chance I get I will post pictures of this lovely model.

Sounds cool, look forward to seeing the pics.

I possibly need to clarify the British sense of humour here.
Kevin (pandagen) has his tongue firmly in his cheek but he's really referring to our extended periods between meeting for drinks and putting the world to rights.

I'd hate to think that any of my customers thought there'd be a delay in me providing their goodies.
I'm only too pleased to lighten the wallets!!

But it is a lovely piece, in 1/32 scale (but seems similar size to my KandC Stuart) ,a one-off and signed by James Wang no less.

Knowing Kevin's prowess with the camera the photos will be great, looking forward to seeing them.

Regards
Clive

Clive , what do you mean, a British sense of humour?

Wraith seems to have pinched all the good light at present so will post when I get chance to take some pics................

As for not meeting up for drinks, more 'tea' vicar? Perhaps at the March show?

Also, I'm still trying to find something to ryhme with banker..........

Great little tank though, I really am very grateful to Rick and his Father - on display next to my Figarti desert honey...........

Speaking in general terms, warped. :)

It's because I'm special and have a constant aura of light surrounding me. I'll swap some for some green paint though.

Special tea. Again, I'll swap some for some light.

Also, I'm still trying to find something to ryhme with banker..........

I believe 'tanker' is the word your searching for. ;)

Great little tank though, I really am very grateful to Rick and his Father - on display next to my Figarti desert honey...........

Look forward to seeing pics, as and when you find the light.....

Meanwhile - the photo tribute to Rick and especially his father for signing the piece. It is a lovely model I am sure that you will agree.

That is a really nicely done repaint. Even better finish than the originals, which were very well done in the first place.
