Yesterday i received the parcel with my Christmas gifts..what can i say more?Wonderful!!!They are FW028,AR036,AR056 and BR059 ..so plenty of AWI..btw my attention was catched by FW028..in his face all the horrors &determination of an "old contemptible" of 1914..maybe veteran of Mons or with a little imagination the Boer War!My attention as i've said was catched by a little particular...a ribbon on his left chest..i've already seen it..maybe a campaign ribbon.. so i investigated a few of my books and i discovered it was the Military Medal estabilished in 1916 http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Military_Medal a bit of disappointment for i was hoping to be in presence of an old hand of some colonial war given the label "1914" but nonetheless the soldier is wonderful!!!Obviously this is not a critic ..nonetheless i want to thank the wonderful K&C Uk staff for the great care they put in sending a parcel to the extreme end of europe in so little time!!!Thanks guys and Happy Holidays!!!
