Thought I'd start a Battle of Arnhem thread in 1/72nd scale since Kevin has covered it so well in 1/30th scale, so here we go.

The British Airborne try to hold on around the church at Oosterbeek......

Near the church was Kate Ter Horst's house which the British turned into a strongpoint........

The fight raged on while the Airborne units tried to decide to press on to Arnhem or sit tight and wait for XXX Corps..........

Those figures are neat, I'm amazed at the detail in them for 1/72, haven't been aware of that detail at that scale, enjoying the show :D
 
That's a great setup. The cool thing about 1/72 you can build large dioramas.
