The Germans inflicted severe casualties, which resulted in Zhukov being forced into committing his armoured reserves in order to breach the German defenses. After breaking through, the Germans withdrew to make a last stand in the Capital............more on that later Debrito, just for you, coming soon.................

FANTASTIC George, these armies just keep on coming. They are saying, thanks for letting us out to play. Thanks for sharing great stuff.:)

George,

Your battlefield is GREAT.. my friend, I loved....the 88mm flak, as well the other artillery weapons. They are well positioned, just waiting for the greatest army ensemble, Zhukov 1st Byelorussian.

Thanks to take the time to make this incredible scenario.

Appreciate your consideration.

Rodrigo.

George, Thats the best one yet!!!

FUBarrrrrrrrrrrr

Rodrigo, I had to present this scenario as I knew you would appreciate it being the Eastern Front collector that you are. Thanks Mike and Fubar; the best ever, wow, thanks a million. Thanks as well Dickbuttons, nice to know my collection is appreciated and a late welcome to the forum from me..................

George, get some HO scale search lights, only thing missing, other than smoke and haze to reflect the light back on the Russians. I have always thought that this was the one battle in Germany where, if the Germans had won the battle, perhaps the war would have ended in perhaps a different manner.

Alex,
The tanks are a mix of metal diecast from MRC, Hobby Master, Admiral and Dragon. There are also built up plastic and resin model kits. The variety is endless in this scale as between wargaming and model kit building, 20mm/1/72nd scale is HUGE.

Michael, as was the case in the west, on the Eastern Front, it came down to a numbers game, the for every German who died on the Eastern front, 20 Russians did, the Germans in the end were overwhelmed by numbers.......

"Scale envy"...........you're too much Louis, I like that phrase, good one......;)
