On July 3rd 1944, elements of the Das Reich SS Panzer Division come up against the US 30th Infantry and 3rd Armored Division near St Lo.........

The terrain prevented the large scale employment of tanks, which benefited the Germans. They turned small clusters of buildings into strongpoints and hedgerows into walls of steel.........

The Germans fought the Americans to a standstill, causing Bradley to look for another route to allow the Americans to break out from Normandy..........

You gotta love the range of terrain pieces available for the smaller scale.
 
Thanks Simon, that is the reason why I collect in this scale, you can do so much with what is out there as 20mm is the most popular scale for wargaming and there are tons of terrain features available..........
