Had some fun with the FL Macedonian cavalry. Reckon I need FL Macedonian infantry and also would be great to see an Indian war elephant and a sprinkling of Indian Archers and infantry from this period.

The TG Elephant is an Asian Elephant and would be correct for this battle. The TCS and Black Hawk Elephants are African Forest Elephants and are correct for the Carthaginian Wars on both sides.
The Romans imported their Elephants through Tunisia. The Elephant used by Claudius in Brittania was an African Forest Elephant. The larger Equatorial African Elephant was unknown during the Ancient period of history. Excellent photos and a great diorama!

A wonderful set up Gary! It is a feast for the eyes and encourages me to collect more ancient figures - far more colourful than field grey ! I am looking forward to seeing the FL elephant one day...

I have just finished watching Oliver Stone's Alexander again, a film I have not seen for a few years, and one I must admit I really do enjoy ( the armour accuracy and battle scenes are very impressive too) . The Hydaspes battle depiction towards the end was thrilling stuff - all inspirational to a collector !
