Don't know if anyone has referred to this before, but the Poirot Box Set is the best money I spent in ages, much better than the tele!!!

Is that what the youth today are calling it?:p I get the "box" and "set" part but what does the "Poirot" stand for? Just don't let that lovely wife of yours find out . . . :D:p:D

Louis,

You need to exercise the little grey cells more................:p:D

And don't let my spelling fool you, it is is Poirot, not parrot - that wouldn't move if you put 30,000 volts through it:eek:

I like Foyle's War and MI-5 [Spooks], so those are the only
ones I buy. Well, MI-5 until they killed off Adam Carter.

My best boxed set purchase would have to be the complete Sharpe series two years ago for A$120 ( a few months later it was A$79). It was better value because I had never seen the series before although had heard much about it.
Was sad when I got to the end. Good to see a few now more recogniable faces in the series such as Daniel Craig.
Complete Blackadder would have to the other.
Regards
Brett
