What do others think the most sought after K&C piece is? It can be from any of the ranges that K&C makes. Personally I think its the winter Tiger. Anyone else have any thoughts on the topic.
 
The ME110, De Havilland Mosquito and Hawker Typhoon from the new warbirds line.:cool:

Which version, the early WS15W with 100 pieces done......or the second

version WS70SL which is also in demand with 999 pieces out there.

Its a hard question as many people have never seen some of the more

difficult pieces to find. I like unusal items, such as the Diorama's done for

shows, and any of the Backlot Buildings which you rarely see. The buildings

are neat because you can build an entire display around just one. Or make

up a town with several.
 
I'd probably have to go with the second Winter Tiger as I think there are some pieces that are very rare such as the Free French, the Warbirds and the Arnhem Backlot buildings as mentioned. However, I don't believe the great majority of collectors are looking for those whereas they probably would like to get their hands on the Winter Tiger.
 
I would put the winter 88 as one of the top pieces.
As for as quality, none of the older pieces are in the same league as the newer stuff.
I personally would want the first Arnem ambulance jeep.

Well... I would have to agree with the Winter Tiger as well... IT is my favorite piece and i cant wait for them to make a new tiger similar to this one...

totally agree 1,000%, we need a new winter tiger which i have been begging and pleading for it's definitly the best in my book, followed closely by the winter 88....sammy
 
As an all round package the Strictly Limited Winter Tiger is the best in my book. Everything about it is quality.
 
Yep i agree,the Winter Tiger is a wonderful model.K&C at its very best i say.The whole package,tank,crew,box is superb.One of my very favourite pieces.

The best K&C set of all time is clearly WS100. I mean it's no contest. Every time I look at it I weep at its magnificent beauty.
 
why the winter tiger?

Although the Afrika tiger is still available (the price has not been marked way higher than retail yet), I thought it is much more authentic in scale and detail than the winter tiger.

so why not the afrika tiger?
 
I kinda agree with Oberstoskar

The Desert Tiger - AK TIGER - is really a outstanding set !

But, then again - how can you pick just one - #1 ? :D
 
The Tunsian Tiger is their best effort so far IMO......the 1:30 scale gives it the edge over the WS70Sl.....however if Andy would re-make an eastern front winter tiger (with a campfire crew) it would re-gain the #1 position.....hint/hint....;);)

Throughout the years K&C has made some outstanding sets. I'm not sure if there is one that is way better than the others.
 
This would be my favorite piece...........at least so far today!:D

It is really terrific in person, a pleasure to look at!
