I know I'm "rowing against the current" (ha ha!) .............. but for me the outstanding piece from the Chicago show was the Wars of the Roses Knight with Standard.
Many thanks again to Julie for her photo of same from her JJD Treasure Hunt thread.

I have just received from "the man himself" three detailed images that I would like to share with fellow Wars of the Roses collectors -
Blown away! I just love this figure - wielding his "War Hammer" with intent - and such a lovely job on the Armour - it really does look weighty!
I reckon it's going to look incredible once John does his painting magic on it.

Also exciting news - "Knights, Mounted Knights and a few personalities" will be making their appearance at the forthcoming December London Toy Soldier Show. (!)
I knew this series was going to be something special...........

This will be a great series.......nothing like knights in armor with colorful coats of arms, pennants and helmet crests.
They will look great in mass dioramas which I intend to build shortly.

Nice sculpt! I am sure the bannerman will be a very nice figure once he has been brought to life with a colourful paint job.
