Oh my GOD how hard are you gonna make it for me to hide your ACW line . Like they say "GO BIG OR GO HOME " and this is going big... real big . Man these look FANTASTIC . Gebhard

Matt-
These preorder figures look great, as expected. If I wasn't so tied to the AWI, this would probably be the range I would choose! Nice work!

These figures look amazing, which now is the usual FL standard for any series! To me a case of getting drawn to an historical period by the quality of the figures...

I received my first order of four ACW soldiers from First Legion today and they are terrific! There's just no two buts about it. I really like the little tuft of grass that's on the base. To copy a phrase from Frank, these are some of the best I've ever seen. Since there are only 22 (so far), this will enable me to buy two or three a month.

I can hardly wait for the Union forces!

what is it with everyone making marching civil war troops- these guys did shoot at each other at some point correct??

Looks good guys- how about some Roman Civil war figs :)

Hi Brad,
very glad to hear you received your first FL ACW figures and you enjoy them.
By adding a few more once in a while they will make a splendid display without a doubt, no matter the quantity :)

Thanks Konrad. That is the strategy I plan on following.

Brad,

I have to really agree with you, I recently received my first order of three FL ACW figures. My first foray into this era, they are tremendous figures. It would be interesting to gain some insight on how many releases will come our way in 2011. I know Union Cavalry is inbound shortly, and assume there will be another release in the later half of 2011, cheers ... Alby

Alby,

They are amazing, aren't they, so incredibly detailed. I'm guessing that we'll see at least two sets of release for Buford's forces, which I assume will include mounted troops. After that who knows where Matt will go. Perhaps he will give us a hint ;) How about it Matt, something to mull over the New Year's :)

Brad,

I will certainly going back for more. I like the fact that the current Confederate release could represent a myriad of Confederate Regiments and that you can cherry pick the figures that you really like that. I am sure that these figures will augment future releases really well. I look forward to future releases ... Cheers, Alby

Glad to hear that you guys are enjoying the figures.

As for what's next after Buford's Cavalry, well, more Confederates and more Union troops of course! ;)

Here's a small hint - we have the first two personalities of this range done and hope to release them in Q1. So there's something to mull over!

Hope you guys have a great New Year!

Best,

Matt

That's basically how I have been collecting my First Legion WWII sets since last Feb, each month I try to buy a little here and a little there and by years end I'm almost completely caught up with all the WWII releases, 6 sets left at the moment to be exact, not counting the new stuff being shown for Jan. makes life a whole lot easier not trying to catch up with retired stuff from years gone bye...Sammy

Matt,

Thanks for the hints. I'm assuming one may be Buford ;) and the other, possibly, Colonel Connally of the 55th.

Anyway, have a good new year's :)
