Try this one....spoken in German with subtitles....I know that will turn a lot of you off already...but I loved this movie.

Facing an ethical quandary, Jewish master forger Salomon Sorowitsch (Karl Markovics) must choose between abetting the Nazis and saving his own skin in this taut, Oscar-nominated drama based on actual events during World War II. Assembled at a death camp, a cadre of printers, artists and chiselers is tasked with counterfeiting currencies to weaken Allied economies. But will Sorowitsch's conscience begin to gnaw at him as the war draws to a close?
This film tells the intriguing true story of a mass counterfeiting operation during WWII, sponsored by an unscrupulous nazi officer and managed by the leading counterfeiter of his time (now a jewish concentration camp prisoner), which was operated in a concentration camp with jewish prison labor. It is a story of conflict: you find yourself cheering for the prisoners to do a good job in order to survive, but they are participating in a massive international crime that you want to fail. The quality of the production, the screenplay, the editing, the cinematography, is every bit as good as other films of this genre, such as Schindler's List, Life is Beautiful, and The Pianist. If you enjoyed those films, you'll find The Counterfeiters equallly enjoyable.
