I just finished this last week!:) FANTASTIC BOOK!!!!:eek: I was wondering what other members thought of the book?:confused: Miller, does a fantastic job with thought provoking plot!:cool: I also just saw the movie, Daniel Day-Lewis is AMAZING!!!:D I thought Miller did an excellent job making John Proctor in the archetype hero...Vick
 
Forced to read it in high school, 40 years ago. No good memories as a result. -- lancer
 
My son was forced to read it two years ago so I read it with him. I liked it. Great play, obviously meant as a parable for the times in which he wrote it.

I was the guy behind you in class....hiding from the teach. The book sucked for me as well, but then we had to read it.To each his own, though....Jake at least enjoys reading, rare these days:)

Yes, I thought Miller did quite a good job of fitting Anti-McCarthyism into the play....however I interpted the play to current situation...

Mike, we were also forced to read it, however I doubt your teacher did not do accents while reading it to the class?!?!:eek::D

No she didn't ...She was too busy adjusting her habit and looking sharp for Father when he walked by:p
