The Battle of Singapore, also known as the Fall of Singapore, was fought in the South-East Asian theatre of World War II when the Empire of Japan invaded the British stronghold of Singapore—nicknamed the "Gibraltar of the East"...

Hi Enricoquinto,

These are very nice figures. Great expressions! Do you keep all your soldiers under glass/covered?

Thanks so much!!! I've not kept all the soldiers under glass... I used to put them into my bookcase but now is impossibile!!! It's full!!! My home has become toy soldier museum!!! So, I've used all the available space!!!:):):) The display cases are essential to protect from dust. Do you agree?

Completely understand. I've only got some in an entertainment center:

King & Country Collection by Western Outlaw, on Flickr

Have others in a stand that was intended to store videos. The shelves are deep enough to have the DVDs in the back and the soldiers/scenes in the front. Another table provides me a place to set up a single diorama (have the desert village their now but I change it periodically).

I've been looking at some curio cabinets but none have really caught my eye. Dust is an issue and I recently moved and dusted my Kriegsmarine display. It is tedious. I had planned to purchase a custom acrylic cover. Still one of those projects/purchases on the horizon.

My dear, I couldn't agree with you more !!! You're the only one who really knew my problem about my fight against the dust and the laike of space. I've put my toy soldiers everywhere: bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, livingroom...I've got around 3500 pieces... (K&C, TG, Britains, First legion, John Jenkins, Del Prado ecc.). Sometimes I wonder who I am...but, until now, do I fit in!!!

P.S. ; your collection is Amazing!!!:)

Enrico
