If and when John decides to end the French-Indian line, which hopefully is no time soon, what would be a fitting set to conclude things? Here are my suggestions:

-Vaudreuil signing the capitulation. Perhaps with Levis and others attempting to discourage him.

-La Corne and the few survivors of the shipwrecked Auguste. Perhaps standing forlorn on the beach reflecting on the loss of family, friends and war.

-Pitt being carried into the House of Commons to debate the Treaty of Paris.

-The "enviable death" of George II on his secondary throne.

I don't think there should be any 'final set' from any manufacturer such as Jenkins for any particular range.
These are small closely held companies that reflect the creativity of the product on a personal level, rather than widgets designed by committee. The same could be said about K&C and from what I am seeing, possibly First Legion.
The companies that do not have sculptors or designers as part of the permanent staff, or in ownership are far more likely to have 'final sets', and move on to other projects.
There will always be subjects and poses to be offered, and in some cases revisited not only for the existing collectors, but the new ones coming into our great hobby... and that is why I think companies like John's should never just close a chapter on a great range.
Well, that's my two cents anyway.

How about we put it like this - what would a good set to represent the end of the French-Indian war?

UH, No set would be a good "end of series" set. I am just an optomistic type that hopes that John keeps on going like the bunny with the drum.

I understand the question Combat:D:D:D.

It's embarrassing to admit, but I'm just not as big of a historian or as well versed in the final chapters of the FIW as you, which probably was more "political" than "military".

So any answer I give you be uneducated.

However, I do realize you don't want to end any of the series, but instead are looking for a closure set for the FIW in the American and European theaters of war.
