I made it through the first season, but quit after the first episode, second season. It got to be too much.
It stars Sean Bean. True to Netflix rewrite of history it has a black police constable [Runner]. This in 1824.
"The Frankenstein Chronicles is a British television period crime drama series. The series, designed as a re-imagining of Mary Shelley's 1818 novel Frankenstein, follows Inspector John Marlott (Sean Bean), a river police officer who uncovers a corpse made up of body parts from seven missing children, and sets about determining the identity of the person responsible."

Just watched the first episode of this last night. Sean Bean stars as a policeman in 1827 London. He comes across a corpse of a child which turns out to be parts of 8 different children and finds out there are many missing children among the poor.Looks to be pretty good.I had never heard of it and found it on Netflix. Will watch another episode or 2 tonight.

Still making it through the second season. I'm enjoying it so far. The arguments over it being too "PC" or not historically accurate seem silly to me, considering it is a fantasy series.
