Indeed, the Germans are coming but, not until March of 2016 for collectors...

We will have the paint masters on display in London next week. These will then go off to the Far East for sampling and pre production masters. For now though, here are a few images of the paint masters for you to view, just to whet your appetite for 2016 {sm4}{sm4} Please note: The actual figures will have transfer numbers on the Pickelhaubs and NOT the painted versions here. These are Paint Guide figures only. The quality will drastically improve for production.

Thanks, Malcolm. :salute::

A few more images taken from tests shots we have been completing for our marketing.

They look really good and appear that they would mesh very well with the Britains early war releases of several years ago. Well done. -- Al

Thanks Al!

Once I have the pre-production prototypes (these are paint masters and will change of course) I will photograph them with my WB early moves figures from a few years ago. :salute::

Why will the pre production figures change?
Mark

The helmets will not have hand painted numbers on them but transfers mark. The bases will also have more detailed grass on them.

Other than that nothing will change bar the potential of the paint quality increasing.

Hope that answers the question?

Malcolm. :salute::

Update on "Ze Germans".

As showcased at the LTSS, these will be supplied with a choice of picklehaubs! One will be numbered as the 84th ( so you could portray them with our BEF figures as the Royal Fusilers at Nimy) the other as 85th ( so you could portray them with the 10th Line Belgian Infantry OR with the BEF figures portraying the Middlesex or Bedfordshire Regiments).

You really have to see them to realise how good these look and how effective and innovative this idea is. Once the dust has settled from the show I will get some images arranged.

Cheers,

Malcolm.

Hi Folks,

As promised, here are a few images of the Germans with and without the interchangeable helmets!

I know I have said this before but, these WILL change and improve in production and I will post images once I have them. These are the paint masters and, as such, not of the high quality that the factory will produce. They are reference works. The helmet numbers will be transfers so, really good.

Hope you like this idea. Malcolm. :salute::
