This movie is rarely on TV and about 2-weeks ago it was on, forgot about it and caught the tail end at Steve McQueen's famous motorcycle ride. Well, it on again on Wednesday, on TCM at 3:00 pm (for Hawaii). I hope you fans get to see it.

A truly iconic film, with so many great lines and scenes. I've always loved the scene in the early part of the film when the Gestapo delivers Bartlett to the Luftstalag Commandant. When the little Gestapo agent with glasses retrieves his release paper, he makes a signature move by snapping his briefcase shut with an almost invisible flick of his wrist. It is a great move. The actor took that one small part and made it his own with that move. Great film. -- Al
