Brad, got your PM. Thanks. This is a terrific posting with a lot of info. Going to take a while to get through it. The one thing I have noticed about most newspaper stories during the war were the almost completely positive stories in relation to Allied offensives, or defensive battles, and the high casualties always inflicted on the enemy. These are sure indicators of the almost complete control that the French and British High Commands had on what info was released to the general public. The war of propaganda was a war the Allies won completely. -- Al
 
I'm still going through them myself Al. The Sarajevo one is interesting in how Princip is regarded as a hero to some. The divisions still exist.
