I don't have high expectations for the movie, but I remember the old TV show was good fun. Van Williams was one cool cat. And Bruce Lee as Kato. They don't make them like that anymore.

Do you remember the cross-over episode with the 60's pop-art Batman show starring Adam West? The Greenhornet fights Batman while Cato and Robin just circle each other in fighting stances (I remember reading that Bruce Lee wouldn't participate in one of the lame Batman "fights" with "biff!" and Ooff! appearing on the screen).

I think Bruce Lee was just scared of the Boy Wonder. :D There was some marketing connection between the two shows in the 60's. They were trying to jump start the Green Hornet with an appearance on Batman. Hard to believe the old Batman TV series has not been released on DVD. I read somewhere that Adam West and Van Williams are neighbors in Ketchum, Idaho. Imagine having two super heroes in your community. West still does a lot of celebrity autograph appearances even though he is in his 80's. He looks almost exactly the same as he did forty years ago.

It's in 3D! Hey, it's snowing here and the temps are below freezing. I would watch about anything.

ok...maybe with the glasses it's better than whats on television...but it does look like a 2 thumbs down stinker...

Saw the Green Hornet this weekend with my 14 year-old daughter. We both really enjoyed it. Lots of action and very funny. Loved the way the main character wanted to be a crime-fighter/super-hero, but was not sure how to go about it. Very entertaining overall. Would see it again.
