I recently had a chance to visit THE HISTORY STORE located in Chillicothe, Ohio. I have been a toy soldier collector in Indiana-Ohio for a long time and had no idea that THE HISTORY STORE existed. What a wonderful find. I was delighted to see glass displays cases all around the store filled with displays or BRITAINS, KING & COUNTRY etc. Toy soldiers displayed in sets or in diorama form from every era. ACW, WWII FFL, Alamo - I was like a kid in a candy store. Also, available were paint supplies, terrrain pieces, books I could go on and on but you get the idea.

More importantly was the hospitality. Ed and Nathan are super hosts. They both are very knowledgable in every aspect of the hobby. Not to mention have a passion for discussing toy soldiers. I had a wonderful time in the 2 to 3 hours that I spent at the shop. Thank you Ed and Nathan for a great afternoon. I can't wait to bring my son over to the shop.

Ericka and I will be attending our third December event at this fine store this year. We have had a great turn out the past couple of years and Ed is a great host.
If you can make it this year we are sure you will have a good time. I am sure the details on the date and activities will follow relatively soon.
All the Best,
Ken
