Now that LaSalle's here, I can't wait for those future 5th Hussars to get released. LaSalle has definitely made those a must have purchase for me now, so I can do a Brigade Infernale vignette.[/FONT]

I’ve got two of the Guard Chasseurs a’ Cheval, and like them a lot. Trying to decide what I want to do for French Cavalry. I also really like the Red Lancers. May pick up all three. We’ll see. Too bad most all the Cuirassiers are gone, as those would have been the ones I started with. Got into Naps a little late for those.

First Legion put a preview pic up on Twitter a couple months back. As soon as I saw it, I knew I'd have to get the LaSalle figure.

Per Google, Harvey Keitel's character wears a very similar uniform.

The 5th , wow just BEAUTIFUL .When I think of the 5th I think of Austerlitz and Kellermann's light cavalry div of the 1st corps .

Too bad the officer figure isn't riding a white horse , he could be used as the "Hero of Austerlitz" Francios-Xavier de Schwarz.

I'm sure they are made to be used for later campaigns by the look but what are there like two or three of us who would know the difference ?? Luckily non of them are hanging around in my war room and I'm not gonna tell. ^&grin

It's about time for a new addition to the personalities line, its been a while since we got Marshal Jean-Baptiste Bessieres and the ADC .

Just for the record this wasn't my post, I share your disappointment with the mounted Artillery set it was up one the site for a few years and I had hope it would see the light of day until it just disappeared.

I think the 5th have a much better chance of being made since the are essentially the exact same figures as the fantastic Chasseurs a Cheval de la Garde Imperiale with different hats and a fresh coat of paint.

Really don't have a problem with First Legion maximizing their sculpts but maybe a little cost savings wouldn't be bad. :wink2:
