The way to Leuthen
The cause and start of the conflict that was to change history forever and which is referred to by some historians as the Third Slesian War or even more appropiate (the actual real) First World War.
Britain being allied with Prussia became the new european superpower for the coming 200 years. France and Austria lost their century old dominance in Europe and the conflict reached Africa, India as well as South and North America.
Part one of three by Matthias Manske on the 7 years war. Very well written and spiced with pictures of Toy Soldiers sculpted, casted and painted by himself. His interest in the period generated his wish to manufacture (fully round) Toy Soldiers in 40mm scale to add to and complete his home cast range from
casted 40 mm Prince August and Nürnberger Meisterzinn Moulds. Very well done in my opinion.
