Real nice shots there Gary.
I have a pile of K&C AWI sets and I am on the fence about adding the TCS AWI sets. What do you think?
Will they go together, not necessarily only in scale but in colors, poses and sculpting (faces, hands, etc)

I think so but depends on how much of a purist you are. CS have their own style which isn't to everyone's taste. I like mixing figures from different manufacturers and think they go fairly well but would not be an exact match re style of sculpting or painting. Buy one figure from their range and see for yourself would be my advice.y
THANKS Gary!
I'll be attending the Chicago show and will no doubt see the figures up-close-and-personal. I never have a bit of an issue mixing and matching any figure from any manufacturer. There are many ways around differences issues if you make your diorama to account for these differences.

Hello Gary ... as a follow up to the previous post, I saw the TCS AWI Dragoon sets at the Chicago OSTN show, as well as the cannon and crew set. They are both really nice sets.
If you hold them real close, YES, the painting style is different, but holding ANY toy soldier to close will distort the perspective.
I had the K&C and CS figures side-by-side and they blended well together -- but that is only from my non-critical standard. Others my see to much difference.
With K&C getting out of the American Revolution series we no have First Legion, Britains and Collectors Showcase. Of the three, only CS has the ability to match close enough to suite me.
So I guess my AWI $$$ will be heading that way for now. When I get a few I will post some pics so others can see and comment.
Good Hunting, Gary,

Thanks Larry
I am keen on the AWI British cavalry. So will be in for these based on your advice.
No more diorama photos from me for a while as I am cataloging my entire collection including photos of every figure or set. I estimate around 10,000 figures so could take a while. It took all of last weekend to get 700 Delprado figures done. Next up 3years worth of just about every figure Thomas Gunn has put out.
Really good though to get to figures not seen for years and a few surprises with stuff I forget I had.
Good luck with the AWI collection. I wonder what things would be like if Britain hadn't lost!
