Hope this finds everyone safe and well. It finally looks like I have come to the end of the band figures. I tried looking for my small collection of reference material, but no luck. The uniforms are dark green with a red stripe going down each leg, the hat is green with a red stripe around the top. The boots are black. They look Italian to me, but couldn't find any uniforms that match. Thank you for all the help in the past.
Stay Safe and Well

Hi, Simos!

The green uniforms, and the field caps with no peaks ("muffin caps", the British used to call them) on the musicians, suggest Russia to me. Whether they're meant to be from the Imperial Russian army, or the army after the breakup of the Soviet Union, I couldn't say. After the cataclysm of the Revolution and the elimination of most of the items of uniform and insignia in the Red Army, the Russians gradually brought back traditional details-like green for dress uniforms, then insignia like shoulder boards. After the fall of the Soviet Union, the Russian republic brought back even more traditional elements. You can find photos online of guard detachments and other ceremonial units parading in Moscow and St. Petersburg today.

Anyway, I think they depict Russian band musicians.

Hope that helps, prost!

Thank you Brad I really appreciate the help.

Sure thing! But hopefully someone else will be able to confirm my theory, or provide a better answer.

Prost!

Brad I think you could well be correct. I was leaning towards an Eastern European country and hadn’t thought Russian. It’s certainly not a Western European Unit in my opinion. But it’s certainly going to take some detective work to sort out.
