I picked this up last week, read it on and off, almost finished it. IMO an excellent book on Custer and "THE BATTLE". Goes into detail on just about every aspect of Custer's Civil War career, Indian experience and the make-up of the 7th Cavalry among many other interesting facts. I won't say which way the author leans in his opinion of Custer but it's 100% one way....
