RIP Mr. O'Toole. One of the great ones. As well as LoA, he was fantastic in everything he did, like Murphy's War and the hilarious My Favorite Year. He was an original and will be missed. -- Al

.Actor and hero immortalized in metal by K&C....Well Done K&C .......Andy's mob have done excellent work producing historic figures and Generals covering many periods of conflict ....have also produced many WW2...US soldiers in Europe...BUT...do not have a "Other Ranks " ...WW2...fair dinkum hero.....I mean a real American hero...not a cardboard cut out....no names mentioned.....Audie Murphy.....not a great actor but one hell of a soldier.....I think Audie is best summed up by these words " WHO do you think you are ? Audie Murphy "...... these words often screamed at some poor GI or Digger by some rough and tough instructor for trying to be a hero's in basic or advanced infantry training....A figure of Audie would add to the realisim of the European Campain.....what do you reckon ?...an actor and hero rolled into one......cheers TomB....(Will be having a beer to Peter with me Irish mates)
