As it seems, the Indianapolis Toy Soldier Show is no more.
Instead I see that there is now "Midwest Toy Soldier Show" in Lafayette, IN.
It is next week, room trading on Friday and Saturday, and the show on Sunday, 04/09/17.
A link to their website is http://www.mwtoysoldier.com/
When going through the dealers list, I can't seem to find anyone I know that would be selling the current matte finished metal Soldiers, i.e. John Jenkins, King & Country, First Legion, Thomas Gunn, WBritain.
From previous Indianapolis Shows, I remember Ted Deddens (TedToys), Nicolas Cameron (Crown Toy Soldiers), Paul Herman (Toy Soldier Shoppe) being there and representing some or all of the above mentioned lines.
Paul is retired now, as far as I know, and the other two don't show on the list.
The Indy Show was always a nice Sunday trip, but now I'm not sure if I will go to Lafayette.
It is about an additional hour of driving, which brings it up to 3 hours one way, and as said above, I'm not sure if I find something.
I'll see how I feel next Sunday :wink2:, maybe there's a chance to pick up some "second hand" stuff.
Are any forum members planning to attend?
I saw that Jim Clouse (Battleboards) is there.
Ron Barzso is there too, and I am still tempted to get a Nottingham Castle.
But I don't have any knights {eek3}
So, if I go, and get a castle, what have I started then :rolleyes2:
