As someone who has written off network TV, I have to say this show is one of the funniest in a long time. The British version was popular, but the NBC version with Steve Carell is an absolute riot. It is in the sixth season, but still as smart and funny as anything going.

I very much agree here. The original is brilliant no doubt about it,Ricky gervais is a very funny guy,but the American version is more than just a remake,it really is very funny and the performances are superb. The episodes in which an ex convict and a gay guy are driven out of the workplace are very good.It really is 'watch through your fingers tv',Steve Carell is brilliant.

Lmao!:D

Love this show!:D

See the one with the stripper, and they go 'Just sit here and answer phones?'
and she goes
'What?'
And stares at him, then he goes
'We paid for the full hour and that's what we're gonna get!'

Lmao!:D:D:D:D

Soo Good!:D

Otr the bit with the telephone!:D

Or:
'We should not overestimate the value of computers!':D

OMG!!!! Watching "The Office" right now! Michael is the biggest idiot EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:D;) For those who are watching, who could say that at a wedding!

Last nights wedding episode was hysterical. Kleenex boxes for shoes was inspired. Dwight kicking the bridesmaid in the face was great and Michael dumping the women at the bar for Dwight's twins had me LMAO the rest of the night. Great show. -- lancer

I agree as well; I am an addict of this and the TV drama series Madmen.

How about Kevin sticking his feet in the icebox!?!?!:D:cool:;)

Some funny parts to the wedding episode, but I thought they were "jumping the shark" a bit for the first time. Dwight is still the man though.

Everything was pretty good, up to the standard of the previous episodes, till they got to the dancing down the aisle scene. That was just dumb.

And Pam's mom got hotter; changing actors for a character is another JTS moment. Though I must say, Linda Purl still looks pretty good. It might be 15 years since she was "Matlock's" sidekick (did she play his niece, was that the character's story?)

But the parade of characters dancing down the aisle--it was painful to watch. And some of the elements of the episode were used already in the episode featuring Phyllis' wedding to Bob Vance, Vance Refrigeration.

I really fear that the series is running on longer than it should.
