The Germans nicknamed the surrounded Red Devil redoubt "Der Hexenkessel", or "Witches Cauldron"; the British troops stubornly held on in the hopes of XXX Corps relieving them..........

Bittrich's Panzer Corps pounded the British troops in an effort to destroy the pocket, but all attacks were repelled. On September 25th, the British Airborne troops began to withdraw across the Rhine, code named "Operation Berlin". Operation Market Garden was over, with nearly 7,500 of the 10,000 airborne troops either killed, wounded or missing. It was the last German victory in the West.............

I am working on some British figures at the moment and hope to have them done soon, just finished some artillery up......
 
Thanks; no FOW is 15mm in scale, my collection is all 20mm, or 1/72nd scale...............
