Hey Guys:

Maybe I missed this being posted up recently. I've been out of town again.

Here is a link to the HBO Series for more previews you might not have seen. The second set of previews on this link starts out alot like previous previews but it's not.

When watching these preview remember, despite how good the series maybe no one buys the figures sets from this theater of battle; too bad.

Hi Carlos,

On the contrary, some well produced and directed war movies do influence collectors in their purchases.

We shall have to wait to see the entire movie before drawing any conclusions.

This is one movie I am waiting for.

Kind Regards, Raymond.

Thank you for the link Carlos.Watching the trailers gave me goosebumps.
I'd like to see some 1/32 matte sets but like has been said here before, there just aren't enough customers for the big companies to invest the time and $$$.
Too bad, but theres always plastic.

Looks like another classic . Praise be to the filmmakers.

Thanks for posting this Carlos. I was going too, but it was a waste of time for the CS manufacturer. Someone is going to do these someday, and many will be glad they did........Stryker

This looks better and better. If even half as good as BoB, this series will be the best Pacific War piece that has been done. About time the Pacific theater got the attention it deserves, after all, it was the largest theater of war, ever. Also the most interesting when it gets down to nitty-gritty aspect of the sharp end of the bayonet. Naval warfare, aerial warfare, amphibious warfare, and eyeball to eyeball warfare against a fanatical foe. What more could a history buff want? It's all in the Pacific, and I hope the new series conveys this. -- lancer

I totally agree with Lancer and this series, will prove beyond a doubt, what it was like in the Pacific. If the manufacturers don't do anything at all--tough, they still can't stop this from being shown, and many people wanting items from it...................Stryker

Thanks for the link Carlos; the first trailer has loads of bits I had not seen before.

This series has the makings of being better than Band of Brothers; we'll see what the final product brings.

There is plenty of pacific product available in 20mm, my scale of choice, so there you go......................
