Hi Guys,

Here is a ‘look-see’ at the final Falklands two-figure set based on the aftermath of the Battle of Goose Green. This involved 2 Para taking on and defeating an Argentinean force of defenders more than twice as large as the attacking British paratroopers.

A 2 Para guy carefully searches a disgruntled ‘Argie’ who however is still glad to be alive!

Hope you like ‘em... Now back to the drawing boards.

All the best and happy collecting,

Andy

Ah yes I do like them Andy. Three quality sets on the horizon. Stanley awaits their arrival. Robin.

Looking forward to these and hopefully more Falklands War figures in the near future!

Brendan

A perilous moment for a small force of Para, as they recapture Stanley ahead of reinforcements including a troop of Scimitars. Really enjoying this series. Robin.

Those "Paras" outside the Post Office look very much like Royal Marines , "Duke of York and Albany's maritime regiment of Foot",
Berets green not red.
Confuse these at one's peril.

This link may be of interest. Available on the BBC i player. Hope the link works ---- BBC Two - Our Falklands War: A Frontline Story
The programme talks to a number of veterans and uses film footage from the conflict.

I also recommend a great podcast…’Battleground:The Falklands War’…A really excellent podcast by two historians along with some excellent commentaries by veterans of the Campaign.
13 episodes so far, anywhere from about 35 minutes to almost an hour each.
Well worth a listen and very informative!

Give it a try…And all the best,
Andy.
