In West Germany, attorney general Fritz Bauer (Burghart Klaubner) is obsessed with finding and prosecuting remnants of Nazi rule that have scattered since the end of World War II. He’s an older man, tired and impatient during his mission, but when word reaches him that top Nazi Adolf Eichmann (Michael Schenk) is alive and thriving in Buenos Aries, Fritz becomes determined to find a way to arrest him and return him to Germany to stand trial. Finding an ally in state attorney Karl Angermann (Ronald Zehefeld), Fritz struggles to break through the red tape surrounding the case, facing resistance from Interpol leaders who remain committed to Hitler’s vision for the country. Secretly engaging with Mossad to find a way to collect Echimann, Fritz is tasked with providing stronger evidence, going deeper into leads to secure his dream of justice.
