Highlighting TG's new Egyptian Officer & Cheetah (Egypt 011):

The backdrop has come up perfectly for the scene. Colourful figures in every way and nicely staged. Robin.

Have got to say TG really do great Cats from the humble household moggies to these Big Cats. Think TG should release a box of their cats on their own !
Great scene and backdrop Rob ! :salute::

now theres an idea. we could have an ACCPACKxxx set with cats in;

1. Panther
2. Cheetah
3. Lion
4. Pallas (Mongolian) cat
5. Cougar
6. Jaguar
7. Simese cat (essential for any Ehyptian dio!)

Rob.......just when I thought your photography couldn't get any better, you come up with this one! The background makes the entire scene pop!

Thanks so much Mark. Very nice of you to say.

I like the way TG included a few of the cats with the figures, sort of a "bonus".

Great scene and backdrop Rob !
Appreciate it Steve, no mummies or skellies in this one though.

Really like those background walls Rob….They’re a long. Long way from Vietnam! Well done mate great setup and photos.
This one made me chuckle, Andy. Those K&C Vietnam Walls are most versatile. The Desert Village Jars come in real handy as well (used them in many scenes). Thanks my friend.

Fantastic. I agree with Robin, great backdrop
Thanks Jason. Believe it or not, it takes me a lot of time just finding that "right background".

Oh my! That's just one beautiful scene. Well done.
Thanks much GH.

Thank you Robin. Really please with this one. The colors used in these fantastic figures needed a deserving backdrop.

Thanks all! More alternate photos coming soon...

I had a lot of fun with this particular scene photographing with a few different backgrounds.

My original intent was to create a scene with the Nile opting for this tranquil reflective blue water and ship background:

A few close-ups of the figures with the tranquil blue water backdrop:

I thought I would capture a more "ancient look" with this photo-edited aged picture but was not too impressed with the result:

Thinking that perhaps an Egyptian palace interior scene might be more fitting, I chose a palace wall background I had used previously with some plain white marble flooring to highlight the figures:

Appreciating TG's beautiful mosaic mats, I added the Ancient Mosaic Floor Mat to the scene. I liked how the mat color was similar to the Egyptian wall art:

Returning to a water scene, I tried this more simple Nile background but added a Roman ship from a photo shoot from last year. Shrinking and enlarging the ship to the "right size" took a few attempts:

Still not pleased, I would return to the 1st Nile image with ships photo-editing a new Nile backdrop with pyramids, sphinx, and obelisk pictured, a background that seemed to really bring out the colors of TG's Pharaoh and other figures.

I liked the end result. Appreciate your comments and 'likes'.
