I like Britains approach to the new band series. It gives the collector the opportunity to make their band as big or small as they wish. Also you can build it up over time thus helping the poor old wallet :D

Great stuff WB looking forward to seeing more !!!!!!!

I agree!!! Being able to build up a big or small band is a great idea, maybe we could see some non limited edition bands made up in small boxes of 4's in the redcoats ranges?:)

This is what we had in mind when we added the Drum Major to the 1755-65 Foot Guards series in Redcoats. You can buy as many of the Drums and Fifes as you like and add the Drum Major to create the Field Musik.
We hope to revisit this formula again soon!

The band looks incredible. And I usually don't consider any band to buy until now.

I don' know if I missed it, but is there a projected release date for the cameron Highlanders limited edition?

& i think that Britains have surpassed themself's yet again!!! I didnt think they could top last years coldstream Guards set but i think they mite of done it with this one!!!

WOW that does look great Craig. I can almost hear the bagpipes :) I also like the way Britains has broken the band into sets, makes it much more affordable to collect.

Thanks

Scott

I have gone completely crazy. When I first started this hobby, glossy did not interest me in the slighest bit. Then I saw the Britains Band of Coldstream Guard Regiment of Foot sets and took a chance and bought one. Well......that has become multiple sets of multiple retired glossy ceremonials and limited editions. Many multiples. I am now completely hooked and I can not wait until the QOC become available so that George can ship them to me. I had to buy another display case just for this new passsion. HELP!!! :):);)

Great stuff, to each his own I always say but there is just something about the glossies. They have such charm. Guess that's my old fashioned side coming out :D :D

The Band looks great. I know I'll be tempted.

Sceic 2: Sorry about your glossy illness. The advantage is that it's cheaper than the KC matt illness.

Just today I heard the definition of a Scotish gentleman: someone who knows how to play the bagpipes, but doesn't.

(actually I love to hear them)
