not only did this book leave me in tears (the manful chivalric variety
),
but it kept me riveted 'til 9:00 a.m. yesterday .Along with The Steps to the Empty Throne & The Path of the Hero King comprising Nigel Tranter's The Bruce Trilogy Enthralling,Profoundly Moving,Authoritatively researched hence rightly educational ,if you're at all interested in this fascinating period,please do yourself a favour and read . Just a page or two won't hurt ya![Wink ;) ;)](data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7)
This was a rich experience for me and my only consolation is picking up The Wisest Fool and finding to my delight that it begins right where The Master of Gray Trilogy ends![Big grin :D :D](data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7)
MANY THANKS TO HtH for the recommendation !
Best,John
