Wow, this one looks like it's going to be quite powerful and no doubt will re-energize a discussion a lot of people and governments have avoided for quite sometime

My wife is a huge Colin Firth fan and she's already set up a dinner and movie date for us on this. Not sure she's going to be ready for what it's all about. She made me go see SPR years ago but I dunno- this just seems so far away from what Colin Firth has done in the past. I know I get pretty choked up watching the trailer, cant imagine what 2 hours of that will do to me.

This looks like it is going to be a good one. It is a very powerful subject. Interesting that the trailer uses part of the soundtrack from Mallick's Thin Red Line, which in itself is a very powerful soundtrack. -- Al

Lets hope they did a good job on it and didn't show the best stuff in the trailer.

Watched this tonight and thought it was a very good film

I have been waiting for it to hit the "Independent theaters" here in Maine and (FINALLY) it is playing for two days. I hope to take it in tomorrow and give my report.!

Well made film, keeps you intrigued. Colin Firth is his usual best. A bit sad, so I will not be getting this on DVD especially since my dad was a prisoner for three & half years in Burma. Good film. Robin.
