Hi folks.

Sorry for the long absence from the forum. Alas, my mind ebbs and flows like random tidewaters and sometimes time flies a lot faster than I notice.

Anyway, a quick note regarding what may be the rarest of the many short issue Imperial Productions works... the Christmas Pudding!

According to Kay Cowe, in the very early years of turning David's hobby into a business, David came up with the idea of sending Xmas puddings out to his most dedicated collectors and purchasers of Imperial figures. These are described as about the size of a thumbnail and painted up by Kay. They were sent as holiday presents to these early devotees and were very few in number, the nicety having to be set aside as orders grew and business boomed.

Kay suggests a "hunt" for Imperial Productions xmas puddings to see if anyone has one of these still. She is sure that many of them have been lost or mislaid as they were so tiny. Still they were very popular and well received, so... perhaps some of you long time collectors and toy soldier merchants have one of these.

If so, please find it and post us a pic of you Imperial Productions Xmas pudding.

(and be prepared to receive my follow up purchase offer!)

Cheers and happy Spring to you all.

D
