The Revolution (1 Viewer)

I saw this very nice documentary

Not being an American, it does put a lot of the early battles and places into perspective for me.

Hello Victor,
Yes that is a rather good documentary. I (being a American Revolution enthusiast) of course have that as part of my documentary video library.
There are a few others that you may like to watch if you have the time or interest.

John Adams won 13 Emmy awards, starring Paul Giamatti. Superior!

Liberty - The American Revolution, a PBS (public broadcasting station) production

TURN - Washington's Spies - about the spy network during the Revolution. Very Good!

Sons of Liberty a fun movie event but 50%/50% on fact and fiction.

Stay away from .. The Patriot .. with Mel Gibson. As far as an entertaining flick goes it is all right .. but there are over 75 historical mistakes in the movie.

I have about 35 - 40 additional DVD's that get very specific about a battle or an event that are excellent. For example ... POWs of the American Revolution ... by the History Channel is a good watch and pretty factual.

Let me know if I can be of any help.

Hello Larry,

Thanks for your recommendations. Agree with you on Patroit...:)
I will look out for those other DVDs you listed.

I am just immersing myself in this period to make more interesting figures.
