We just received word that the new Russian sets have been shipped from Hong Kong. We expect to have them here tomorrow (unless a zealous customs agent is on duty, in which case it wouldn't get here until Tuesday). We will add the shopping cart to those web pages as soon as we have them in hand.

I'm looking forward to these Russian sets since it's been so long since we have had some. I think we need a lot more.

Yes im patiently waiting for them as well to add to the fall of Berlin diorama im planning on making .

I would like to see more from the Eastern Front and a lessing of the Western Front preponderance although I understand the need to address the Western Front, financially.

I doubt the Allies could have won the war without Russian help but I'm not sure I can say the reverse. Their contribution is overlooked or underestimated.

I couldn't agree more about the Russians. They absorbed 75% to 80% of the German divisions, and fought alone on the ground in europe for almost two years. Despite suffering incomprehensible casualties numbering in the tens of millions, they kept on fighting and drove the Nazis from their rodina (motherland). We couldn't have won "the Great Patriotic War" without them.

There is definately some great battles to cover during that part of the war. Especially tank battles.

Can,t remember if it was OTSN 02 or 03, but there was talk then of a Kursk set.

Back in the days when Andy made warbirds, he made a Soviet Ilusian IL6 Sturmovic, a Green Hart Squadron (Eric Hartman's squadron) Eastern Front ME109(G) and Ernst Udell's Eastern Front Stuka, all of which would have been perfect for a Kursk battle scene. He had made a Winter Tiger and a Winter Panther in his first wood vehicle releases, and of course did the whole Stalingrad winter release and the recent Battle of Berlin stuff. There is a lot of material out there already for a pretty terrific Kursk Diorama.
