A sleeper at least for me. A bit musical, drama and comedy. Based on a true story. Chris O'Dowd is good.
One of those movies that after you finish watching you just feel good.

In 1968 Australia, four musically talented Aboriginal women — Gail, Julie, Cynthia, and Kay — form the soul-singing girl group The Sapphires under the tutelage of alcoholic, Irish talent scout Dave Lovelace. Though the women face racial prejudice, they are sure they are destined for fame. Dave gets them a job entertaining the US troops in Vietnam and, despite the danger, they head out to the war zone.

Oh no, it seems as though a controversy has arisen over the COVER of the U.S. released
Blu-ray/DVD. I guess if it was about my life I'd feel the same. Too bad, I bought it anyway.
Good fun movie. Never judge a book by its cover. The movie didn't do that well [$14 million]
box office take in Australia or even in the U.K. Order it on Netflix then you won't have to
see the cover.

This forum is a great place for movie tips.
This sounds like a good movie and one that I will try and get hold of.

Great flick we watched it recently with the kids! Really enjoyed the story.
