Just visited this interesting temporary exhibit in the Parisian museum "Invalides".
Here below, the french secret service files (in the 20ies) on Hitler ( profession: "journalist"; and named " the german Mussolini"),and Mussolini( "teacher"). And an SD uniform found in Paris at the liberation.

Adolf Jacob Hitler would be the grandson of Salomon Mayer Rothschild.The Austrian police set up a secret file on the origins of Hitler. Chancellor Dollfuss had ordered this inquiry. It was discovered that his grandmother, Maria Anna Schicklgruber, worked for Baron Rothschild when she became pregnant. When the Rothschilds learned the news, they sent her to a clinic in the town she came from. It was here that Alois Hitler, the father of Adolf Hitler, was born in 1837.
